Meyer International Trucks was founded by Fred and Kay Meyer of Rice Lake, Wisconsin in August of 1973. After years of working for International Harvester in a variety of positions across Wisconsin, Fred and Kay wanted to return home to be closer to family in northwest Wisconsin. Not long after returning to Rice Lake, they purchased the local International Harvester dealer, Ostrom Sales in 1973 and were open for business in August of that year. Starting small, they rented a building on the corner of Allen & Main in Rice Lake as the original location for Meyer International Trucks. As the company grew, they quickly outgrew the location in Rice Lake. In 1976, the company bought land for its current location off of Highway SS in Cameron.

Since then, the current location in Cameron has seen multiple additions to expand the service and parts department while being led in day-to-day operations by second generation managers, Tim and Jeff Meyer. While times have changed and the original shop has grown, the quality service and attention to detail you will receive from every aspect of this family owned business will be second to none.
